Belt transmission uses the friction or meshing between the belt and the pulley to transmit movement and power. Because the belt drive has the advantages of smooth transmission, simple structure, low cost, no need for lubrication, and cushioning and vibration absorption, it is widely used in agricultural machinery. Pay attention to the following aspects in the use of triangular belts.
1. Correct use of triangular belts
V-belt (also called V-belt) is a standard part, produced by a professional factory. For V-belt (V-belt), the original standard is divided into O, A, B, C, D, E, F seven according to the size of the cross section. The new standard is divided into seven models: Y, Z, A, B, C, D, and E, and their cross-sectional dimensions are increasing sequentially. The commonly used triangle tapes are Y, B. A, B four types. The replaced triangle tape should be consistent with the model of the pulley groove, and the length of the replaced triangle tape and the original used triangle tape should be equal to the length required by the design (the type and inner circumference of the triangle tape are stamped on the outside of the tape. Observe carefully). When selecting, choose different types of V-belts according to the power and the size of the pulley groove.
2. Installation of V-belt
When installing, note that the axes of the main and driven pulleys should be kept parallel; the grooves must be in the same plane and must not be twisted; the tension of the V-belt must meet the requirements; when multiple V-belts are driven, the length and tension of each must be Basically the same; and to install protectioncover. Before installation, ensure that the two planes of the driving wheel and the driven wheel are on the same plane. When installing the V-belt, do not use iron tools to forcibly pry in. This will seriously damage the pryed part of the V-belt, causing peeling between the inner layer and the strong layer of the V-belt, or the skin is scratched, causing the slack of the pryed part. It may also pry the V-belt pulley groove. The correct installation method is: Loosen the tensioning device, then press the V-belt into the pulley groove by hand, and finally tighten it.
3. Strengthen regular inspection, adjustment and maintenance
In order to ensure the normal operation of the V-belt, the use of the V-belt should be checked regularly. If there are serious wear, cracks, aging, folding and other defects, it should be replaced in time. If it is stained with oil, clean it. If the installation is too tight and the V-belt is severely deformed, the life of the V-belt will be shortened. At the same time, the bearing will heat up due to excessive radial force, which will accelerate the damage of the bearing; If it is too loose, the driven machine will not reach the rated speed and even slip. Check the tightness method of the V-belt, add 2kg vertical load to the middle of each belt, and the sag is 30~50mm. 4 Maintenance of V-belt
(1) When the tension of the triangle tape is checked regularly, the specified requirements cannot be met after adjustment, and a new triangle tape must be replaced. When replacing, all the belts on the same pulley should be replaced at the same time, otherwise the load on the V-belt will be unevenly distributed due to the difference between the new and the old and the different lengths. This will cause the V-belt to vibrate and drive unevenly, reducing the V-belt transmission. Work efficiency.
(2) During use, the operating temperature of the V-belt should not exceed 60"C. Do not apply belt grease casually. If you find that the surface of the V-belt is shiny, it means that the V-belt has slipped. First, remove the dirt on the surface of the belt, and then apply an appropriate amount of belt wax When cleaning the hexagonal belts.
